hallo allemaal,

ik weet niet of er iemand is die @skybox (neotion) 3000 heeft. ik wil hem upgraden via internet. ik heb geprobeerd maar is niet gelukt. ik denk dat je alleen maar een aansluiting tussen ontvanger en pc hebt via RS232, een kabel dus. ik heb ook de nieuwe sofware(firmware)gedownload. als ik begin met upgraden dan geeft (pc) connecting to IRD software dan kan ik niet verder. weet iemand wat
IRD software is en hoe ik verder moet. moet je ook de schotel (LNB) aansluiten aan de receiver tijdens upgraden.

als je via pc upg. doet dan je hebt de lnb niet nodig, maar waarschindelijk moet je een of een ander code intotsen tot je kan download tot stand bringen , maar bij elke ontvanger merk is anders, dus waar je de software hebt daar kijk voor de uitleg, staat vast een text doc er bij..

Procedure for update the NEOTION Box
You should be equipped with one RS232 cable and an Internet connection to download the update on
our dedicated website upon ours receiver : http://www.neotionbox.com
The process of update, step by step (duration 6 to 7 minutes)
Download on the site of NEOTION Box the last update.

You’ll be guided to download the correspondent update for your product.
1- To do the update, your NEOTION Box must:
- be turn on,
- not be in the wake up mode,
- not be in the Neotion Video Link mode,
- for example switch on a TV .
2- Unplug the antenna cable of the NEOTION Box
3- Connect the series cable between the PC and the NEOTION Box.
4- Click then two time on the file that you will have downloaded ("***.exe"), then a window
appear :
The next two
files change
according to
the update
version that you
will have
downloaded
Tick this case if
you have an
error : « Err » is
displayed on
your receiver
Tick this case if
you want to
update your
satellite list and
transponder
list.

5- In to the case Com Ports, select your PC series port onto which you have plug the
RS232 cable.
6- Click on the button [ UPGRADE ]
The update will be launched. It take approximately 6 minutes.
On watched the display screen of the NEOTION Box you will see the following steps :
6.a.
d000 to d100 (the number get increment
progressively)

6.b. When it’s come at d100, the following message appears on your desktop.
Wait before click on OK.
6.c. In parallel, that’s appears on your Neotion Box LCD display.
F000 to F100 (the number get increment
progressively)
The message « Good » appears.
6.d. At present switch off your receiver (backside button) and then turn it on again.

6.e. On the PC, you can now click on OK. A second message appears on screen,
don’t click on OK.
6.f. When the NEOTION Box have reboot, click on OK.
The following message appears.

6.i. In parallel, the following message appears on your Neotion Box LCD display.

ja , duidelijk
je kunt met een nul modem kabel en de pc moet nline zijn met inernet..

kijk maar of je moet vanuit de ontvanger een download optie kizen..
